Bermuda National Trust Museum
Easily spotted with the double chimneys. Built in 1700 by Governor Samuel Day and owned by members of the Tucker family. In 1867 became the Globe Hotel. King's Square (297 1423).

Carter House
Built in the early 1700's and a remaining example of early vernacular architecture. Southside Road, St David's.

Fort of St. Catherine
Built in 1614 the fort overlooks the beach where the first settlers came ashore and overlooks the east end of the island. An Audio visual exhibit brings Bermuda 's history to light. Inside the fort is a replica of the Crown Jewels guarded by wax model Beefeater. St Catherine's Beach.

Fort Scaur
Fort Scaur is a public park with views of the Great Sound and Ely's Harbour. Scaur Hill, Somerset Road, Sandy's.

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse
Climb up 185 steps for good views from the top of the lighthouse built in 1846. The balcony at the top is 385ft above sea level. Lighthouse Road , Southampton next to Fairmont Southampton Hotel. Lighthouse Road, Southampton.

Kings Square
The ceremonial centre of St George's and also known as Market Square. The square is dominated by the Town Hall and has lots of shops and restaurants.

Bermuda Maritime Museum
Exhibits of Spanish treasure, Bermudan boats and other nautical items. Royal Naval Dockyard. Ireland Island, Sandy's.

National Trust Museum
The Globe Hotel building dates from 1700. A video 'Bermuda: Centre of the Atlantic' tell's the story of Bermuda and her history. There is model of the Sea Venture, which brought the first accidental settlers to Bermuda. The Globe Hotel was the office of the Confederate agent, Major Norman Walker, during the American Civil War and features the exhibit 'Rogues & Runners - Bermuda and the American Civil War'. Royal Naval Dockyard
The Royal Naval Dockyard was built in 1809. The buildings are now used as a shopping mall, craft market, arts centre and restaurants. The Commissioner's House, a large building was built in 1825. Ireland Street, Sandy's.

St David's Lighthouse
Built of Bermuda stone and marks the most eastern part of Bermuda and stands on a hill of 209 feet and the lighthouse is 55 feet tall. A stone structure which has been working since 1879. The view from the balcony looks eastward. St. David's Island, St. David's.

St George's Historical Society Museum
Built in 1734 originally as a private house. In the museum is a replica of a old style kitchen. Duke of Kent Street.

The Deliverance
A replica of the 17 th Century ship that carried survivors form the ship wrecked Sea Venture to Virginia. Town of St George (297 1459).

The Old Rectory
Built in 1699 a cottage in St George's. Broad Alley, St George's.

Tucker House
An 18 th Century merchant's house occupied by Henry Tucker from 1775 - 1807. Water Street, St George's (297 0545).

Verdmont Museum
This historic house built in 1710 has great views over the island's South Shore. Collector's Hill, Smith's Parish (236 7369).
